Leg Length Discrepancy and Degenerative Changes in the Hip Joint and Lumbar Spine

There is an article that shows an association (not a cause) between leg length inequality and developing arthritis in the hips and the low back.

Some articles in the past have said that you need over 20 mm difference to cause problems, but this articles says anything over 5 mm difference can start to cause problems, even in young people.
