Knee Replacement Problems

I saw an advertisement for this website, and I was impressed at the amount of problems out there with total knee replacement systems.  It looks like this is a website designed to refer people to lawyers to sue the doctors and manufacturers.  There must be enough of a problem out there to set something like this up, which impressed me, because I as I understand it, only about 20% are dissatisfied with their total knee replacement surgery (1).  If there are 500,000 knee replacement surgeries per year in the U.S., that means about 100,000 of these people have problems with.  Of those, I wonder how many would want to sue their doctors or the knee joint manufacturer.  ~ Dr. Broussard

Knee Replacement Compensation

Knee replacements are one of the most common orthopedic surgeries performed in the United States and Canada each year. Over a half million knee replacement operations are performed annually in the United States and Canada and this seems to be increasing on a yearly basis. Knee replacement devices are intended to provide up to 15 years or more of pain-free stability and mobility for recipients. Unfortunately, based on our internal discussions and reviews, a significant number of knee replacement devices including  DePuy Synthes Attune, B. Braun Aesculap (Vega, Columbus, EnduRo, univation X); Smith & Nephew; Arthrex IBalance TKA; Exactech Optetrak; and Zimmer Persona with Trabecular Metal; may be linked to a number of unwanted and painful side effects and complications or recipients may require revisions far earlier than they should.
